Before making these kind of pictures Walker was a successful fashion photographer working with the likes of Vogue, The Face, Yohji Yamamoto, i-D and so on. However, he became disenchanted with the fashion industry’s value system and left to become a merchant seaman. As you do. Thankfully he kept shooting and is now creating enigmatic pictures that are arresting and beautiful in their ordinariness.
